Did you catch our recent post about last month’s Designer Trade Event? It was a great time, and definitely re-energized our appreciation and gratitude for our local interior design community! We hosted close to 50 local interior designers for an evening of reconnection over cocktails, charcuterie, and education by special guests Moore & Giles and Wesley Hall.

Moore & Giles taught us some surprising facts about the leather industry, and what makes leather such a sustainable choice for upholstery. (For a recap of what we learned, click here!)
Our other special guests, President Zack Taylor and Maxwell Mauney from Wesley Hall, taught us about the 5 Pillars of their brand and what makes their furniture so special.
Wesley Hall is known for its high-quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to using sustainable materials. They offer a wide range of furniture styles, from traditional to contemporary, and their pieces are designed to be both beautiful and functional. Their furniture is 100% bench made in the US, including the wood, cushioning, and finishing supplies that go into them. If you’ve had the chance to test a Wesley Hall chair, sofa, or sectional in our store, you know that the beauty and comfort of their pieces is next level.
Zack taught us all about the Wesley Hall 5 Pillars of the Wesley Hall brand:
- Quality. Wesley Hall uses top quality materials and employs skilled artisans to ensure that each piece is made to the highest standards. Their products are constructed with premium cushioning, hard-wood frames and traditional, 8-way hand-tie spring systems. Dedicated to impeccable upholstery, each piece is cut by hand and expertly pattern matched for a beautiful result that’s built to last.
- Style. Wesley Hall’s motto is “Classic Made Current.” Their furniture often features traditional design elements such as rolled arms, tufted backs, and turned legs. However, the brand also offers more contemporary pieces with clean lines and modern finishes. Overall, Wesley Hall furniture is characterized by its timeless elegance and superior craftsmanship.
- Comfort: Wesley Hall pieces are designed with ergonomic features (like their signature Pitch Perfect tilt) that provide ample support, making them a great choice for those who value comfort in their furniture. Premium cushioning ensures maximum comfort and durability.
- Customization: Wesley Hall offers a wide range of customization options, including fabrics, wood treatments, and finishing options, allowing customers to create furniture that is uniquely their own.
- Sustainability: The lumber lumber used in Wesley Hall frames is harvested from AHMI-certified, sustainable forestry. The down used in their cushioning is CertiPUR-US®-approved and comes from responsible down standard-certified suppliers. 100% of their packaging materials are recyclable. Their springs are made from recycled materials and employ a lead-free coating made from organic materials.
In addition, Wesley Hall is committed to the safety of their products. Made of USA-grown maple, their hardwood frames are kiln-dried, toxin-free and finished with carcinogenic-free products. Also made in the USA, their toxin-free glue is water-based, made from ultra-low VOC and HAP emitting materi-als, and is formaldehyde free. They utilize USA-produced foam from a very select group of suppliers, all of whom are widely regarded as exceeding requirements for safety.
In short, you can rest easily (and comfortably) when buying Wesley Hall, knowing that their furniture is not only beautiful, but also safe, comfortable, and made to last.
