And just like that, our Outlet that we started as a temporary space to get rid of some excess fabric for extremely low prices, turned two years old! In the past two years, our outlet has grown and evolved into a designer fabric mecca for closeouts and discontinued fabrics at all prices below $14.99/yd. Sometimes I walk in there and scratch my head thinking, WHY is this in the outlet? Wasn’t this the fabric I wanted to special order for our bedroom drapes? But the truth is in the textile industry, sometimes even beautiful products reach the end of their lifespan or have tiny insignificant flaws to make them a fraction of their retail price. These lovely home textiles need their own showcase, and you have proven that, by continuing to support our once temporary space and make it it’s own full fledged operation.

And the staff at the outlet? I cannot say enough good things about those folks. I get email after email telling me how helpful and wonderful they are! So, we are throwing a party to celebrate our second outlet anniversary and the fine people who make it possible!

Saturday August 29th 10-5, come on by for tasty treats & beverages, store specials all day and a “Mad About Plaid” contest that will be judged at 2pm.

If you are crafty and interested in participating in the contest, please come on by for a complementary yard of plaid fabric. What you do with the fabric is up to you, but bring your project or a photo of your project to us by Friday August 28th, to submit your entry into our contest. Judging will take place at 2pm and the winner will receive a $100 U-Fab gift card!
