Ben was born and raised in the mountains of Virginia and pursued his education at Virginia Commonwealth University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a concentration in Small Business.

He joined u-fab in 2014 as a part-time fabric associate and played a key role in the company’s move from Robinson Street to Broad Street. His dedication and expertise led him to become workroom lead in 2018. In 2020, Ben relocated with his wife for her nursing career, traveling through Connecticut, California, Hawaii, and Oregon. During this time, he gained hands-on construction experience and launched his own handyman business.

After returning to Richmond to start a family, Ben rejoined the u-fab team in fall 2023 as warehouse and delivery manager, bringing with him a wealth of experience and dedication to the company. His travels sparked a passion for woodworking and the art of efficiently moving furniture and belongings—skills that, combined with his love for tackling challenges, make him an invaluable part of keeping u-fab’s warehouse and deliveries running smoothly.
